DNA Updates
- JS, a distant cousin through Isaac Catt. This one is likely, but I don’t have his side built out much so I will save it for later.
- LD, a distant cousin through Benjamin Cox. Supposedly she decends from Benjamin and Sarah’s daughter Sarah, but the information provided does not match what I have documented. Daughter Sarah never married and did not have any children and she was not in Tennessee at any time that is known. I’ll mark this as a Cox with issues. There are shared matches with a Fielden cousin and a Sarah Reed Byrd cousin, so maybe she is related through the Fielden branch?
- DR, a distant cousin through George Catt. Again, I don’t have much built out on the Catt family so I will save for later.
- JT, a distant cousin through Polly and William DeMoss. I actually have him in my tree. This helps to support that 4th great-grandfather William had a brother named Lewis/Louis.
- RW, a distant cousin through Joshua Frost. He happens to already be in my tree through his daughter.
- VA, a distant cousin through Richard Puckett. I don’t have her line built out so I will tag and revisit later.
- CG, a distant cousin through John Fielden. Again, I don’t have her line built out so I will tag and revisit later.
- CM, a distant cousin through William Fielden. I do happen to have his line built out and was able to add him to the tree.
- AR, a distant cousin through John McCullough. I don’t have her line built out yet, so I will tag and revisit later.

- NJ, wife of my mother’s cousin, needs sources. This one is unusual in that the cousin does not have his father’s surname. Little documentation is available other than obituaries so it is unclear why this anomaly exists. I did find a public record for the wife so the error was resolved.
- UnkD, husband of a distant cousin, needs sources. Found his first name, sources and additional family members.
- ZH, 5th cousin, needs sources. I was able to fill in the info for him and his brothers.
